Channeling the biting cold of the polar winds, the Shaman is able to
encase their target in a protective shell of ice. This spell can serve
dual purposes based on the situation.

When cast on an enemy, Glacial Encasement serves as a formidable
crowd control tool. The enemy is frozen in place, incapable of any action.
The ice will shatter only when it has absorbed a significant amount of damage
or after an hour. A successful Fortitude save will resist the spell's effect.

If cast on an ally, the spell becomes an emergency life saver. The ally
is immobilized but protected from all harm as the ice absorbs the incoming
damage. No save is applicable in this case.

However, the after-effects of the spell are notable. Upon breaking free
from the icy prison, the target's speed is reduced due to the chilling cold
that lingers in their limbs.

Duration: 1 MUD hour or until ice shatters
After Effect: +2 Speed
