• Syntax: apply <kit> [weapon]
Weapon maintenance kits are specialized tools used to improve a weapon's
effectiveness in combat. When applied to a weapon, the kit provides a
temporary buff that raises the weapon's damage floor.

If no weapon is specified, the kit will be applied to your currently
wielded weapon.

The damage floor is the minimum damage your weapon can deal. For example,
a 2d12 sword normally deals 2-24 damage. With a +1 damage floor bonus, it
would deal 3-24 damage instead, eliminating the lowest possible rolls.

   Each kit has three properties:

Duration: How long the maintenance effect lasts (in hours).

Damage Floor Bonus: How much the minimum damage is increased.

Uses: How many times the kit can be used before it is depleted. Some
   high-quality kits have unlimited uses.

The type of maintenance performed depends on the weapon. Sharp weapons
(swords, daggers, axes) are sharpened with a whetstone. Blunt weapons
(maces, hammers, staves) have their balance and weight adjusted.

You can examine a weapon to see if it currently has a maintenance buff
applied.
