   This spell can only be cast upon yourself.  When affected by this spell,
you are aware of nearby life which would ordinarily be hidden from you.  This
includes people affected by hide and invisibility.  You are not sure of who is
there, but you know that someone is there.  This effect lasts for several
hours.

Possessed items will also reveal themselves to one who can detect life.

   Duration:
      6 hours + ((level * 1 hour) / 2)

   Example:
      Level 10:
         6 + (10 / 2) = hours
